Smoking Ban Closer To Becoming A reality

TYLER - There may be some exemptions to the proposed smoking ban in Tyler.

In a meeting held Monday night, members of The Smoking Ban Task Force discussed the idea of allowing people to smoke in businesses specializing in tobacco sales.

This exemption, follows a proposed city ordinance that would call for a smoking ban in all public places in Tyler.

The other possible exemption to the smoking ban, would include fraternal organizations and private clubs, such as v-f-w halls.
