Tobacco is highly addictive and rarely can a smoker, especially a long-term puffer, simply toss the cancer-causing sticks aside and go cold turkey. If it were that simple, many smokers would have dropped the disgusting habit long ago to better their health, not to mention it would add a few extra dollars to their wallets.
Some smokers have gone to great lengths to try to kick the butt - from nicotine patches, to gum, medications, group counselling and even more non-traditional methods such as hypnotism and acupuncture So if cleansing the body, reducing health risks of second-hand smoke around family and loved ones and fattening the bank account isn't enough incentive to quit smoking, the Canadian Cancer Society is sweetening the pot with another reason to quit - one that sports four-wheels.
